Tyler and Jason are adventurous people, who were friends for two years before they realized they wanted to spend ALL of their time together, which is when they finally knew they were totally in love! Jason proposed with his Nana’s ring, down on one knee. When it came to planning their wedding, this couple was true to their nature, and did things a bit differently. They decided to make things official at one of their most cherished places – Gorman Falls. They brought about a dozen of their nearest and dearest loved ones, and made the trek to the falls. This involved hours of driving and hours of hiking. The most amazing part is, they did it all after having stayed up the entire night before! Tyler and Jason actually went there in the wee hours of the morning before their wedding, to decorate the site for the ceremony. They tied ribbons and laid out handmade decorations by the silvery light of the full moon… so romantic! A few hours later, they led the caravan out to Colorado Bend State Park. The beautiful hike brought us down to a tent, where the bride and groom changed for the ceremony. The ring dogs did their job perfectly, aside from an attempt or two to jump up onto Tyler’s wedding dress. After a sweet exchange of vows, the couple hiked out of this magical place, as husband and wife! Their honeymoon is a big adventure, too: they’re swimming with sea turtles in Barbados and swimming in a volcano in St. Lucia… We’re so happy for you, Tyler and Jason!
