Elia and Stephanie – engaged!

Stephanie grew up in Port Aransas and went on to study architecture at Texas Tech University.  She graduated in 2008 and moved to Austin, TX where she works for Barley & Pfeiffer Architects. Elia grew up in Pordenone, Italy and lived in Rome before he moved to the states.  He studied in Corpus Christi, TX before transferring to The University of Texas at Austin.  He is currently studying Aerospace Engineering. While Elia was living in Port Aransas, Stephanie went back there to visit home, one weekend.  While out on the town the pretty pair met at a local watering hole, through mutual friends.  As Stephanie walked in, Elia turned to their friend and said, “She will be my wife!”  After meeting Elia, Stephanie found a way to visit home almost every weekendAfter a year of dating long-distance, Elia took Stephanie to the beach in Port Aransas on New Year’s Eve, where he popped the question!
