Jen and TJ met in college, thanks to mutual friends and a similar taste in coffee houses. They began to make a lot of excuses to hang out together, pretending to just be very good friends, but they couldn’t hide their interest in each other for long. They dated, and things became serious when they decided to move to Lockhart together. The small town allowed them to finish school without working full-time to pay the rent, but it also gave them the gift of appreciation for conveniences like 24-hour restaurants and giant hardware stores just down the street, once they moved to Austin. Jen always told TJ she wouldn’t get married until she finished school, and he jumped at the very first opportunity to make her his wife, by proposing at her graduation party! Both families were there to witness the proposal (including Jen’s Dad, who had given his permission). After eight years together, Jen and TJ are getting married in two days, at the Chapel Dulcinea!
